The Strength Place is the brainchild of me, Bridget. Its purpose is to be a place to find knowledge and wisdom of all things strong.
In the last several years new worlds have been opened to me because of strength training. I am about to graduate college with a bachelors in kinesiology from one of the top schools in the country. I am working for an accomplished strength and conditioning coach at a D3 school learning the ins and outs of a strength and conditioning program. I attribute so much of my current happiness to the weight room. When I found “fitness” back in 2014, I had no idea it would become my life’s passion and the subject that I would center a blog around. Life is so beautifully wild.
Like every single person reading this I, too, have experienced highs and lows in my life. And, for me, the cure has been an honest dialogue with myself and physical activity – mainly strength training. I am in love with the things we can control with our minds and what we can learn from working with a barbell.
This is what I hope to convey and explore in the pages of this blog (as well as some fun lifestyle and other related topics).
